Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting the privacy of personal information provided to us or collected by us online and offline, including through our websites, platforms, API integrations, and associated applications (collectively, the “Sites”). In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Blocksure Pty Ltd (“Blocksure”), the company behind MicroPromote.

- Microcredentials Marketplace — our platform for discovering, issuing, managing, and verifying microcredentials;
- Erudithe / Ecosystem Integrations — our integrated skills-to-revenue architectures, automated Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) engines, and Rich Skill Descriptor (RSD) mapping tools.
Where a particular Site collects or uses personal information in a way unique to that platform, it is described below; otherwise, these privacy practices apply universally across the entire Blocksure ecosystem.

International Data Transfers
Some of our third-party service providers (such as data storage, infrastructure, or analytics platforms like Google Analytics) may be located outside of Australia. By providing your personal information, you consent to these cross-border disclosures. Where we transfer data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your data securely and in a manner consistent with strict data protection standards.
Your Rights and Controlling Your Personal Information
Choice and Consent
Providing your personal information is voluntary, and doing so constitutes your consent to its collection and use as detailed here. You may decline to provide information, though this may prevent you from using certain features of our platforms, automated RPL processing, or credential verification services.
Access and Correction
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you. A reasonable administrative fee may apply to cover data retrieval costs. If you believe any data we hold is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or misleading, please contact us. We are committed to updating or correcting your information promptly.
Unsubscribe & Opt-Out
To stop receiving marketing or promotional communications from us or MicroPromote, please use the “unsubscribe” link embedded within the communication, or contact us directly at the details below.
Privacy Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) or this policy, please lodge a formal complaint with our Privacy Officer using the contact details below. We take all privacy matters seriously and will investigate and respond to your complaint thoroughly and promptly.
Data Security and Storage
We are committed to securing your personal information. We employ robust physical, technical, and administrative safeguards — including data encryption, secure API protocols, and restricted access tiers — to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Please note that while we maintain industry-standard security practices, no data transmission over the internet or cloud storage network can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Where Our Infrastructure Lives
MicroPromote runs on the QANT platform, which provides the hosting and technical infrastructure behind this site and the MicroPromote application. The technical side — the servers your data is stored on, how that storage is secured, and how long information is retained — is operated by QANT on our behalf, within Australia.
QANT publishes its own full privacy and security policy covering that infrastructure. If you would like the underlying detail, you can read it at qant.au/privacy.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Our Sites use cookies and web beacons to optimise platform performance, analyse user trends, maintain user sessions, and support targeted marketing features. You can adjust your browser settings to reject cookies, though doing so may degrade some platform functionality.
Links to Third-Party Sites
Our platforms may contain links to external websites or third-party portals. Blocksure does not control, and is not responsible for, the privacy practices or content of external websites. We highly recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party platform you visit.
Policy Amendments
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changing legal requirements or updates to our platform ecosystem. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published across our Sites.
